A Boy and his Dog

My dear friend, Lisa, and her husband Ron and son Brian, have adopted their first family dog, a lovely smooth collie boy, Cayden. It has been less than 24 hours at the time of this post, but it is already clearly a match made in ...shall we say, heaven? What could be more a part of Americana than an 11 year old boy getting his first dog.
Lisa and Ron, intelligent and creative people, are raising a bright and clever young man. Adding a dog will change their lives in so many exciting ways by adding a new dimension to how they see life. Congratulations to Brian, Ron and Lisa.

Bossie/Atlas Puppies

Yesterday, January 9, 2010, I met my future puppy for the first time, though I don't which of these beauties it will be. We're pretty sure it won't be the boy, but which one of the girls is not clear as yet. I don't think I could make a choice if pressed to do so today. I certainly need Suzie's help choosing. Both girls are beautiful and rambunctious. See for your selves!
